How to make a Flying Rocket – “Fun Time with Kids”

“Fun Time with Kids” is a YouTube series that I have started with my kids to share ideas on how to spend quality time with them at home. It began with Vyan showing “How to make your own Sandwich”

In the second episode we are making a toy for you to play.

Let’s make a Flying Rocket

Things Required

1. Paper
2. Pencil
3. Colors – Red, Yellow, Purple (or any color of your choice)
4. Straw – 2 straws of different sizes. One straw should fit into the other
5. A pair of scissors
6. Tape

Step 1 – Draw a rocket in the sheet of paper

Step 2 – Let you kids color it with their choice of colors

Step 3 – Cut the rocket

Step 4 – Stick a small straw behind the rocket

Step 5 – Cover the top open end of the straw with the tape

Step 6 – Insert the other straw and blow wind to it

Your Flying Rocket is ready!!
