F – Family at Work

Gaurav, who works for IOCL, was in a fix when he was asked to come to work on a Sunday. He had planned a day with his family and didn’t want his work to become a hindrance. He also didn’t want to deny going to work because it was for a social cause and of utmost priority.

 

He finally found a midway and managed both his family and work on that Sunday. He had to visit a rural area for distributing gas cylinders and giving them new connections. He included his family that included his mother-in-law and wife by making them the chief guests of that event and made them distribute the gas cylinders to the villagers.

 

His family was over the moon to get the honour and be a part of the social activity. His act was also appreciated in his office. Everyone present at the event was happy as it was a very well organized event and the ladies loved meeting his wife and mother-in-law. They also went ahead and greeted them with flowers and asked them to visit again.

 

Gaurav took a wise decision to include his family at that official event. Instead of spending the day at some mall or watching a movie, he chose to spend it for a good cause. His family, colleagues and the villagers were all happy because of his little act of goodness.
