Story – 2

Giving Back

(Story shared by Hasmukh Parmar & Bhaumikchandra Rajdeep)

One day Hasmukh found a mobile phone lying on the ground. He realized someone must have dropped it by mistake and the owner must also be worried about his phone. He then picked up the mobile and kept it safe with him.

He was waiting for the owner to call so that he can inform him that the mobile is safe with him. Within a few minutes he received a call from the owner, he informed him about his location and also stayed there for him to come and take back his mobile. When the owner reached his location, he couldn’t stop thanking him and was overjoyed to get back his mobile.

We appreciate his act of kindness.

  1. Loved the concept of the organisation ‘Plant is ours, Air is yours’. And the second incident also highlights the presence of humanity. Keep pouring in Rashi.

  2. Kudos to GNGN for lovely initiative with an awesome meaning.. Plant is ours, air is yours.
It is really painful when one loses mobile. We keep on waiting in anticipation that someone would reciprocate but instead they switch it off. Wish there were more people like Hasmukh.

  3. Such lovely stories of giving back. My husband has experienced the second story. he dropped his mobile phone at a metro station. He was quite worried when on reaching home he could not find his phone. The person who had picked up his phone made a call on my number (since that was the last dialled), telling us that mobile has been found and that we can collect it from the same metro station. Thus my husband got his phone back.

  4. Thank you for sharing so much goodness through your daily blog, we come to know there exists people like these. 😊💜

  5. We really need more organisations like the GNGN group, especially in places like Delhi that are plagued with terrible air pollution. Thanks for highlighting their work.

  6. 2 months back, while I went to leave my kids to the kindergarten, I dropped my phone somewhere on the way and it got buried under the snow. Unaware of the fact, I returned home. When I started my laptop, I got a message on my web WhatsApp and FB messenger too that my phone was with a gentleman who was waiting for me. He gave me the address and I rushed. An old man in his late 70s was patiently waiting for me outside a cafe who handed over the phone and left. We are surrounded by good people also.

    1. Wow so nice to hear that. Am glad am able to bring out similar stories. Together we can make this a positive place 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

  7. loved the concept of organization and indeed they are doing excellent work. and the second story is also a great example of honesty and positivity. loving your series so much.

  8. Such a noble deed, the team in Bangalore is doing. I hope a lot more people take inspiration from such acts and participate in saving our environment. A nice read Rashi. 🙂

  9. And it shows that there are still good people in this world who are happily doing what they do best, doing good for others and our environment. Lovely post, Rashi.
