Blue Sea

As I sit on the beach
Looking at the blue sea,
Blue sky, blue water
Blue is all that I see

There is a soothing silence
Ready to be broken by the tide,
The waves come one after the other
In the never-ending sea so wide

I think hard, how good it will be
If we too could stay calm like the sea,
With thoughts racing far and near
Deep within, I wish there was no fear

It’s not easy to break the bond and tie
Remembering our dear ones, I sigh
I again continue to stare at the sea
As I try hard to spend some time with me
