Train Story – 1
(Story shared by Nisha Jasani Mehta)
Nisha and her husband were traveling by train but they were worried because their seats were allocated in different bogies. They were carrying many bags so they wanted to sit together but nobody was agreeing to change their seats. So, after requesting many passengers they went to the other bogie and luckily a young girl agreed. They heaved a sigh of relief and exchanged their seats.
In a hurry to vacate the seat for the girl, Nisha forgot to take her purse. While they were moving towards the other bogie, the girl called her from behind and handed over the purse. Nisha was surprised and thanked her a lot. It would have been a great loss if her purse was lost.
The young girl not only helped them by exchanging her seat but also by returning her purse.

Train Story – 2
(Story shared by Prathamesh Chourey)
Prathamesh, while traveling by train one day, found a guy struggling with his heavy luggage. He went ahead and helped him with the luggage so that he can board the train. Later, when they reached the station, he also helped him bring down his bags. Because they were travelling in the same direction, he continued to provide his help to cross the bridge too.
Such gestures are rare but are of great help.

Nice to read Rashi… Spread the goodness around.
Felt happy to read these. My mom usually travels alone. Sometimes she doesn’t gets lower birth. But there will be always someone who exchanges their seat with her. Small gestures matter a lot.
Indeed these gestures are rare but they are really helful.
Lovely story Rashi….and yes do good and it comes back to you.
Very nice! Simple human gestures!
Left my purse once in a cafe and had it returned to me. It was unbelievably, generous as it had EVERYTHING in there. Great theme this year. Just another A to Z blogger stopping in – Dragons & Spaceships
Another story of goodness that gives us hope for a better world.
