For A to Z challenge this year, I have chosen to feature the “Authors of Razzmatazz” as it has always been a desire to not just interview the authors on my YouTube channel but also write about them. The idea is to feature as many authors I can, however, it won’t be possible to include them all. You can watch all the 100 episodes on my channel anytime.

“Razzmatazz with Rashi” is a YouTube show that gives a platform to the authors to introduce their books and share their writing journey. A book is a dream and on this platform we celebrate that journey of hard work and dedication. The show is the winner of the Global Book Community Awards 2020. It has become a trusted platform for authors and running successfully with four seasons and more than hundred episodes so far.

In today’s post we have Neil D’Silva

Neil was featured in Razzmatazz with twelve books in his kitty. It was an absolute pleasure and honor to have him on my show. He shared great tips for authors and spoke at length about his books and writing journey. You will find the links to his book and social media in the description of the video.

About the Author

Neil D’Silva is an author of over twelve books, including bestsellers such as Yakshini, Haunted: Real-life Encounters with Ghosts and Spirits, and the Maya’s New Husband trilogy. His publishers include Penguin Random House, Rupa, Puffin, HarperCollins, and Hachette among others. His books have won screen adaptation options and are at various stages of development.

Named as one of the Top 7 Indian horror writers to be read by UK’s DESIblitz magazine, Neil has featured in several leading publications and is a prominent speaker at literature festivals across the country. He is the creative director of a litest named Litventure, and its horror off-shoot, FrightVenture. He has spoken at the TEDx platform and conducted masterclasses at IIT Kanpur and on Wattpad among others. He has judged the horror category at Wattpad India Awards in 2019 and 2020.

Neil has spoken about his paranormal writing on several podcasts and other avenues in the media. He was also invited for an episode with celebrity podcaster, Ranveer Allahbadia, famously known as BeerBiceps, on The Ranveer Show.

Neil was a winner at the Delhi Literature Festival Short Story Competition of 2015. His book Maya’s New Husband won the title of Entertainer of the Year at the Literary Awards 2015.
